The West Bank
On 21 May, Israeli army troops invaded the city of Jenin, after which there were fierce clashes with Palestinian resistance fighters, but Israeli attacks on Palestinian civilians. The fighting continued during the next day, and on the first day alone, 7 civilians were killed, including children, while over 12 were wounded. In addition to the fact that the Israeli troops invaded the area around the local hospital, they in their already recognizable manner with armored bulldozers continued to demolish and uproot everything that fell within their reach. Local Palestinian resistance units responded to such fascist methods with improvised explosives, which damaged and destroyed several Israeli vehicles. After the first night of fighting, Israel was forced to evacuate over 7 soldiers by military helicopter.

On May 23, the Israeli army withdrew from Jenin, and 11 Palestinian fighters were killed during street fighting in one part of the city alone. The number of dead and wounded Israeli soldiers is not known, but according to the numerous evidence of vehicle explosions and air evacuations, that number is certainly not small. After withdrawing from Jenin, the Israeli army also attacked the city of Nablus, where fighting is currently taking place.
Gaza
In Gaza, the Israeli Air Force bombed Rafah again, as well as Jabalia – another city in the South of Gaza. The bombardment continues in the North of Gaza, from where, according to available information, Israel has withdrawn its tank units. In addition, the formation of a buffer zone around the North of Gaza shows that, militarily, Israel does not have the capacity to retain this territory. The savage bombing of the entire Gaza Strip, and especially the completely ruined North, shows that Israel wants to prevent the return of the population and the restoration of some form of life in that area at all costs. The return of the population would mean not only a political and moral victory for Palestine, but also a military nightmare.
